Travelling and booking in Amsterdam

HOST – RULES AND REGULATIONS

Conditions to be a fairbnb.coop host in Amsterdam – For registered Bed & Breakfast:

One host = One house

Permit number verified

Presence of the owner to welcome travellers

Max. 4 people occupancy

For holiday rentals:

One host = One house

Registration required with council

Max 30 days rental within a year period

Max. 4 people occupancy

GUEST – TOURIST TAX

The rules in Amsterdam are getting stricter for short term rentals and we are happy with that. Because it aims to keep our city livable for everyone. We are working together with city council to bridge these efforts. By booking with us you contribute to these efforts and will enjoy the wide range of what is possible.
The tourist tax is 10%. We are working on the possibility of collecting this tax for the local administration.
